Job summary

Castle Rock School District is seeking a qualified Director of Technology to lead the IT department, drive technology strategy, and promote classroom technology use. The role oversees systems, budget, staff, and collaborations with stakeholders to meet district technology needs.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in information or computer science and five years of related experience in design, development, and implementation of technology and communications systems.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversees all technology and related systems in the district.
• Coordinates staff development in technology and training.
• Gathers and analyzes systems data to identify problems and design solutions.
• Provides technology user support for staff and students.
• Maintains the District Technology Plan and hardware/software inventory.
• Supervises staff and allocates assignments; evaluates performance.
• Prepares technology budget and reports for leadership and Board.
