Job summary

The Baldwin School is seeking a visionary Director of Technology to lead and manage our technology initiatives across all PreK–12 levels. Reporting to the CFO, you will oversee a team of IT professionals and partner with senior leaders to advance instructional technology, security, and operational continuity.

Responsibilities include strategic planning, budgeting, vendor management, and promoting professional development for the IT team and faculty.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 7 years of technology leadership or management experience.
• Experience with LMS platforms, specifically Blackbaud, including administration and user support.
• Experience with G Suite tools including Gmail, Drive, Sites, and other Google Apps.
• Advanced Mac and Windows operating systems knowledge, including integration and troubleshooting in a mixed environment.
• Proven expertise managing enterprise financial technology tools and related integrations.

Responsibilities

• Lead technology strategy, policy development, and planning across PreK–12 levels.
• Oversee IT budgeting, vendor selection, contracts, and procurement.
• Ensure secure, reliable technology operations, data governance, and disaster recovery.
• Support teaching and learning by integrating educational technology into curriculum goals.
• Provide professional development opportunities for IT staff and faculty.
