Job summary

Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago is seeking a Director of Financial Systems Management to lead Workday Financials and related systems. This senior role shapes internal controls, data governance, and reporting across the Finance division, partnering with IT to optimize processes.

The position drives system upgrades, governance, and strategic finance initiatives, ensuring timely close and accurate financial statements for the hospital and its affiliates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
• Minimum 10 years in finance and/or financial systems.
• At least 5 years in a managerial capacity.
• Strong knowledge of internal controls and financial statements.
• Experience with ERP, reporting tools, and Workday is preferred.
• Excellent communication and influence skills; able to present clearly.

Responsibilities

• Lead the management and administration of Workday Financials.
• Provide governance for Workday enhancements, data issues, and reporting needs.
• Collaborate with IT and Finance leaders on reporting and integrations.
• Evaluate system upgrades, configuration, testing, deployment and change management.
• Oversee cash flow, close processes, audits, and financial controls across entities.
• Develop and implement process improvements and automation opportunities.
