Job summary

Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago seeks a Director of Financial System Management to lead Workday financial systems strategy and maintenance. You will manage internal controls, documentation, and the data model while guiding system improvements across finance processes.

The role requires a strong background in accounting, leadership, and cross‑functional collaboration to support financial reporting, audits, and regulatory compliance within a pediatric healthcare context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is required.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in finance and/or financial systems, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of internal controls and financial statement preparation (I/S, B/S, C/F).
• Excellent communication and influencing skills; ability to lead cross‑functional teams.
• Experience with major ERP applications and financial reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Workday Financial System management and related financial systems.
• Maintain internal control matrices, narratives, flowcharts, and documentation.
• Provide strategic direction for the Financial Management domain within Workday and related systems.
