Job summary

Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago seeks a Director of Financial System Management to oversee Workday Financials, strengthen internal controls, and lead the Finance Systems portfolio.

You will drive data governance, reporting, and system enhancements in collaboration with IT and Finance leadership. The role requires extensive experience in finance systems, strong leadership, and ability to guide strategic process improvements within a large pediatric healthcare organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Minimum 10 years in finance and/or financial systems, with at least 5 years in a managerial capacity.
• Thorough knowledge of internal controls and financial statement preparation (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
• Strong communication and influencing skills; ability to present to senior management.

Responsibilities

• Leads the management and administration of Workday Financials.
• Leads and supports Finance regarding Workday enhancements, inquiries, and governance.
• Collaborates with IM leadership on Finance reporting and integrations needs.
• Evaluates system upgrades, requirements, configuration, testing, and deployment; communicates changes.
• Manages enterprise data model (FDM) and data governance across Finance.
• Ensures monthly close process for all companies is timely and accurate.
• Guides Finance systems and integrations, troubleshoots issues, and explores alternative solutions.
• Prepares management reports, KPIs, and audit schedules.
