Capital Medical Group is seeking an experienced, strategic Human Resources leader to shape the future of our organization and support growth of a large multi-specialty medical practice serving patients across the Washington, DC area and the DMV.

The Executive Director of Surgery and OBGYN provides strategic, operational, financial, and administrative leadership for the Surgery and Obstetrics & Gynecology departments in support of the clinical mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and five or more years of progressive healthcare leadership experience.
• Experience with provider productivity (wRVU) management, operating room utilization, ambulatory practice development, capital planning, and practice expansion is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic, operational, financial, and administrative leadership for the Surgery and OBGYN departments, aligning with organizational goals.
• Develop and execute service line growth strategies, including ambulatory expansion, new program development, site planning, and market growth initiatives.
• Partner with chairs, division chiefs, and physician leaders to establish priorities, productivity expectations, and performance improvement initiatives.
• Direct department operations, leading strategic planning, operational reviews, and cross-functional initiatives to improve efficiency and patient care.
• Oversee departmental budgets, monitor financial performance, forecast results, and implement corrective action plans to achieve fiscal goals.
