The Executive Director of Surgery and OBGYN provides strategic, operational, financial, and administrative leadership for the Surgery and Obstetrics & Gynecology departments in support of the organization's clinical mission. Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Finance, Nursing, Public Health, or a related field and five (5) or more years of progressive healthcare leadership experience. Demonstrated success leading physician practice operations, surgical services, financial management, workforce development, and strategic program growth. Experience with provider productivity (wRVU) management, operating room utilization, ambulatory practice development, capital planning, and practice expansion is preferred.
Executive presence with demonstrated strategic and financial acumen, strong physician partnership skills, and a commitment to operational excellence. Ability to lead change, develop high-performing teams, leverage data to drive decision-making, manage complex initiatives, negotiate effectively, communicate across all levels of an organization, foster collaboration, and promote accountability.

In addition to maintaining a closely integrated alliance with The George Washington University and The George Washington University Hospital (GWUH), separately owned and operated by Universal Health Services (UHS), CMG maintains active referring relationships with 12 area hospitals.
To encourage pay transparency, promote pay equity, and proactively address regulations, UHS and all our subsidiaries will comply with all applicable state or local laws or regulations which require employers to provide wage or salary range information to job applicants and employees.
