Volunteers of America Chesapeake & Carolinas is seeking a Facility Director in Baltimore to lead strategic program development, manage budgets, and supervise staff while aligning with the organization’s mission-driven approach. The role requires strong leadership, risk management, and a proven track record in correctional or re-entry settings.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Criminal Justice or related field.
Minimum 5 years of transferable experience in correctional setting or community re-entry or social services.
Knowledge of ACA standards, PREA and residential re-entry services.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the Deputy Director to identify, create and implement program objectives and contractual obligations.
Recruit, supervise and evaluate program staff under VOACC policies.
Develop program policies and procedures to maintain effective services in compliance with funding requirements.
Develop and implement pre-service and in-service training for all program staff.
Reinforce VOACC/BOP policies and procedures as they relate to the program.
Promote transparency and collaboration throughout the organization to maintain good culture.
Monitor operations and ensure compliance with regulatory and legal requirements.
