Job summary

Circle is seeking a Director of Product & Technology Communications in San Francisco or Palo Alto. You will shepherd the public narrative for Arc and related products, work closely with product leadership, and steer media strategy across major launches.

You will build executive thought leadership, manage top-tier media relationships, and collaborate with the community and public affairs teams to scale the company’s communications across an evolving AI and fintech landscape.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in product or technology communications, in-house.
• Track record building product brands and strategy ahead of launches.
• Deep relationships with Tier 1 tech and business media.
• Experience with developer-facing products and builder communities.
• Familiarity with AI agent landscape and programmable money.

Responsibilities

• Build Arc public narrative as a platform with a long horizon.
• Own Circle's narrative in the agentic economy with press.
• Embed with the product organization early to shape narratives.
• Set media strategy and execution for Arc launches and milestones.
• Develop speaking strategy for product/technology leaders and conferences.
• Manage Tier-1 technology media relationships.
• Lead executive thought leadership and op-ed development.
• Collaborate with the community team on developer communications.
• Partner with Public Affairs on crisis and issues management.
• Architect AI-powered communications workflows.
