Job summary

Talent Edge Recruiting is partnering with a growing energy infrastructure organization to hire a Director of Power Generation. This executive will own the division’s strategy, staffing and growth from its Louisiana base, with regular travel to Abilene, TX and field locations.

The role demands deep energy-industry credibility, strong financial oversight and leadership of multi-project portfolios, partnering with owners and executive teams to scale the business.

Qualifications

• Extensive leadership in oil & gas, energy, EPC/EPCM or major energy infra.
• Experience overseeing large-scale capital projects or portfolios.
• Leadership of project managers, superintendents and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the Power Generation division's strategic direction, structure and growth.
• Provide executive oversight across a portfolio of energy projects from opportunity to delivery.
• Lead through senior project leaders and establish scalable division processes.
• Develop policies, reporting standards and operating discipline.
• Manage divisional budgets, forecasting, cash flow and profitability.
• Review project performance across schedule, cost, risk and client commitments.
• Drive early risk identification and corrective actions.
• Engage with owners, clients, vendors and subcontractors on commercial matters.
