Talent Edge Recruiting is assisting a growing energy infrastructure organization in locating a Director of Power Generation. This executive role is headquartered in Louisiana with regular travel to the HQ and to Abilene, TX for project work.

You will drive strategic direction, operating model and growth while maintaining strong financial oversight across a portfolio of complex energy projects. The ideal candidate will combine senior-level energy industry credibility with strong leadership,

Qualifications

• Requires deep leadership across Oil & Gas, Energy, EPC/EPCM, Midstream or large energy infra projects.
• Experience overseeing large-scale capital projects or portfolios.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and project-controls professionals.

Responsibilities

• Owns the Power Generation division's strategy, structure and growth plan.
• Provides executive oversight across a portfolio of energy projects from opportunity through delivery.
• Leads through project leaders rather than hands-on management of individual projects.
• Develops policies, processes and reporting to scale the division.
• Oversees budgets, forecasting, cash flow and project profitability; drives risk management.
• Negotiates with clients, owners and subcontractors; manages commercial and legal aspects.
• Builds leadership bench and collaborates with owners and engineers for growth opportunities.
