Job summary
RWJBarnabas Health seeks a Director of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery and Dermatology to lead the operational growth of premier specialty services. You will partner with physicians, hospital executives, and Medical Group leadership to drive strategic initiatives, expand programs, and improve patient access across the health system.
You will oversee budgeting, program development, and collaborations with academic departments to support education, research, and faculty growth.
Qualifications
- DMP: Master's in Healthcare Admin or related field required.
- Minimum of five (5) years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare administration or equivalent.
- Experience leading large-scale operational initiatives in academic medical settings.
- Strong financial acumen including budgeting, forecasting and analytics.
Responsibilities
- Lead operational growth across Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery and Dermatology portfolios.
- Collaborate with physicians, executives, and medical group leadership to execute system-wide initiatives.
- Develop and monitor annual operating budgets and strategic plans.
- Improve patient access, program development and healthcare delivery.
- Drive quality, patient experience, and research alignment with academic goals.
