Job summary

Ruder Finn in the United States seeks a Director, Patient Engagement to join rf.voices. You will lead day-to-day planning and delivery of patient ambassador programs for pharmaceutical and healthcare clients, translating strategies into activations across videos, blogs, social media, live events and peer-to-peer initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field and 6+ years hands-on experience in patient engagement programs.
• Experience executing pharmaceutical patient ambassador programs from onboarding through activation.
• Experience managing timelines, budgets, and MLR workflows.
• Strong interviewing and story-development skills with sensitive health experiences.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Ability to balance empathy with accountability to client and regulatory needs.

Responsibilities

• Translate approved strategies into detailed workplans and deliverables.
• Identify, recruit, onboard, and readiness assess ambassadors.
• Deliver training for ambassadors to communicate authentically.
• Develop patient stories and interview guides with editorial teams.
• Ensure content adheres to health literacy and accuracy.
• Support regulatory reviews and compliance across activities.
• Act as day-to-day client contact and manage relationships.
