Job summary
Rutgers University-Newark seeks an Assistant Dean/Director of Student Compliance to design and implement a comprehensive plan ensuring compliance with Title IX, Title VI, the ADA, Section 504, Clery Act and related laws. You will advise senior leadership and coordinate with university offices to manage reporting and investigations.
The role requires developing trainings, monitoring regulatory updates, and guiding stakeholders through Rutgers policies to mitigate risk and improve student
Qualifications
- Professional experience in Title IX and ADA compliance, law, HR or related fields.
- Ability to interpret and apply federal, state and local laws and university policies.
- Strong communication, organizational and investigative skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead Title IX, ADA and related compliance initiatives for Rutgers University-Newark.
- Advise the Dean of Students and executives on national compliance trends.
- Develop trainings and educational programs for awareness and policy adherence.
- Coordinate with RADR, UEC, OEE, OGC and other offices to ensure compliant reporting and investigations.
