Glorio Group is seeking an experienced Director of Software Engineering to lead engineering teams in building scalable, reliable software solutions. The role combines technical leadership with strategic oversight to drive engineering strategy and align technology initiatives with business objectives.

The Director will oversee the SDLC, promote engineering excellence, and foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
Significant experience leading engineering teams and managing technical initiatives.
Experience managing multiple software development teams and engineering managers.

Responsabilités

Define and execute the software engineering strategy, technical roadmap, and development priorities in alignment with business goals.
Lead, mentor, and develop engineering managers, team leads, and software engineers.
Oversee architecture, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of scalable software systems.
Establish engineering standards, coding practices, code review processes, and QA procedures.
Collaborate with product, design, operations, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Drive modern software practices, CI/CD, automation, and cloud technologies.
Monitor performance, delivery timelines, system reliability, and quality metrics.
Manage resources, project schedules, budgets, and staffing plans.
Identify risks and opportunities to improve performance, scalability, and security.
Promote accountability, innovation, and continuous learning.
Communicate strategy, progress, risks, and outcomes to senior leadership.
