Qualifications

Responsibilities

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Significant professional experience in software engineering, including experience leading engineering teams and managing technical initiatives.
• Demonstrated experience managing engineering managers, team leads, or multiple software development teams.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, distributed systems, APIs, databases, and scalable application design.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of modern programming languages, software development frameworks, and engineering best practices.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies, CI/CD, automated testing, and DevOps practices.
• Strong understanding of software security, system reliability, performance optimization, and technical risk management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, make sound technical decisions, and deliver results in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience leading large-scale software modernization or cloud migration initiatives.
• Familiarity with microservices, containerization, Kubernetes, and infrastructure as code.
• Experience defining engineering metrics, improving delivery efficiency, and managing technical debt.
• Experience collaborating with executive leadership on technology strategy and long-term planning.
• Understanding of data engineering, machine learning, or AI-enabled software products is an advantage.
