Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of successful teaching experience in grades 6-12.
• Master’s Degree required and NC Administrator/CTE licensure eligibility.
• Leadership experience in school/district administration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee secondary academic programs and develop plans to improve student achievement.
• Coordinate district-wide curriculum, staffing, and professional development.
• Advise administrators and teachers, manage budgetary needs, and grants where applicable.
• Lead curriculum guides, pacing, and alignment with NC standards.
• Collaborate on data analysis and district-level instructional practices.
• Support CTE communication with NC DPI and manage CTE budgets.
• Promote partnerships, work-based learning, and local articulation with postsecondary.
