Job summary

Achievement First in Rhode Island is seeking a strategic Director of School Operations to partner with the principal and regional director. The role oversees non-instructional operations, manages a budget up to $10M, analyzes data, and ensures that essential materials are available to support student achievement.

The position leads the operations team, drives KPIs in budgeting, safety, attendance, facilities, and onboarding/offboarding.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited 4-year institution; Master's Degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of operations management experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams to develop and implement systems and processes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as thought partner to the principal; identify school priorities and decisions.
• Own school budgets up to $10M and lead annual budgeting.
• Oversee enrollment, facilities, HR, safety, and family engagement.
• Manage the operations team and coach staff to meet annual goals.
