Job summary

Centralus Health is seeking a Director of Infection Prevention and Control to lead system-wide strategies across hospitals, ambulatory, and post-acute settings. You will align infection prevention with quality, risk, and patient safety, and serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership.

The role requires CIC certification, a Master's degree in a health field, and at least 10 years in infection prevention with 5 years in a director role; travel up to 50% is expected.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing, Epidemiology, Public Health, or related field.
• At least 10 years in infection prevention or quality leadership, with 5+ years in a director role.
• CIC certification required.
• Experience leading infection prevention across multi-hospital systems.
• Ability to translate data into strategy and improvements.

Responsibilities

• Develop system-wide infection prevention strategy and governance.
• Guide executives on epidemiologic trends and regulatory readiness.
• Lead quality integration and HAC risk mitigation.
• Collaborate with Population Health, Laboratory, Pharmacy and clinical lines.
• Ensure CMS and Joint Commission compliance and readiness.
