NYU Grossman School of Medicine seeks a Director of Health Professions Simulation to lead NYSIM and collaborate with NYU Langone Health and CUNY to advance healthcare simulation across the partner institutions. This role focuses on strategy, program development, and educational excellence within a premier academic medical center.

The Director will guide curriculum design, faculty development, and scholarly activity while shaping the future of simulation-based learning and patient safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and eight years' related experience.
• Minimum of two years of experience in planning, developing, implementing, evaluating, and customizing clinical, educational or simulation programs.
• Minimum of five years of professional experience in health professions education, with specific experience in clinical education.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic relationships to grow simulation education for NYSIM, CUNY and NYUGSOM.
• Oversee development and implementation of all simulation program initiatives and curricula.
• Lead faculty development, research activities, and scholarly output in healthcare simulation.
• Promote NYSIM goals and ensure alignment with NYUGSOM strategic objectives.
