Job summary

The incoming director will transition with current director, begin full duties April 1, 2027, and supervise staff while reporting to the Chief Administrator and Board.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of accounting, financial management, budgeting, forecasting, internal controls.
• Experience leading financial operations and supervising staff.
• Iowa School Business Official authorization or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and coordination of the Agency's financial and business operations.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and amendment of the Agency budget.
• Ensure GAAP-based accounting and timely financial reporting.
• Oversee internal controls, compliance, and risk management.
• Coordinate audits, grants, contracts, and fiscal reporting.
• Supervise and develop Business Services staff.
