Qualifications

• Master's or specialist degree in educational administration; doctorate preferred.
• Iowa licensure including Superintendent/AEA Administrator endorsement and evaluator approval, as required by law.
• Progressive PK-12 administrative leadership experience in an AEA or related educational organization.
• Deep knowledge of special education, service-for-a-fee programs, and statewide collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership to advance the Agency's mission, vision, core values, and goals.
• Align people, programs, services, and resources to improve outcomes for students and educators.
• Build partnerships with school boards, superintendents, staff, and other stakeholders.
• Represent Grant Wood AEA locally and statewide.
