Job summary

Confluence Academies in Minnesota seeks a Director of Development to lead a comprehensive fundraising program that advances education equity for students and teachers.

You will build a donor community, manage annual giving, major gifts, grants, and planned giving, and cultivate relationships with corporate and foundation supporters. Reporting to the CEO, you will supervise staff and coordinate with Marketing and the Board.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and written communication abilities.
• Experience in development and donor relations.
• Strong organizational and fundraising project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising plan to meet revenue goals.
• Cultivate and steward donors, including major gifts and grants.
• Collaborate with CEO, board, and partners to align funding priorities.
• Oversee grant management and donor database practices.
• Monitor fundraising metrics and report to leadership.
