Job summary

TPS Group Holdings seeks a Director of Allocation & Planning in Acton, MA to lead inventory optimization, allocation strategy, and merchandise planning execution. You will guide a Senior Planning team and partner with Buying & Merchandising Leadership to meet sales, margin, and turnover goals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive retail merchandise planning and allocation management experience.
• Strong knowledge of retail planning, allocation, replenishment, forecasting, and open-to-buy management.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with planning, allocation, and reporting systems.
• Strong financial and analytical skills with experience managing sales, margin, inventory, receipts, and turn performance.
• Strategic thinker who can translate data into actionable recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the allocation and planning team with clear expectations.
• Partner with Buying & Merchandising Leadership to execute sales, inventory, and open-to-buy strategies.
• Oversee allocation and replenishment strategies across stores and e-commerce.
• Review forecasts and recommend actions to hit financial objectives.
• Establish and monitor inventory and performance metrics and translate data for leadership.
• Collaborate with Distribution and Logistics to optimize inventory flow and availability.
• Develop talent and foster a collaborative, results-driven culture.
