Job summary

Monks is seeking a Director, Media Architecture in Los Angeles to lead strategic, cross-channel media initiatives for top clients and new business opportunities. You will shape the brand narrative, oversee multi-disciplinary teams, and drive growth across media channels.

This senior role requires a deep understanding of media strategy, activation, measurement, and data-driven storytelling, with a focus on delivering exceptional client outcomes and innovative solutions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of industry experience focused on cross-channel media strategy & planning.
• Strong ability to turn data into insights and narratives for senior-level clients.
• Master of media planning, activation and measurement with brand-building fluency.
• Fluent in data and AI-enabled tools; Nielsen is preferred.
• Organized, with the ability to manage up and lead across departments.
• Not afraid to defect from the status quo to make clients and company more successful.
• BA or equivalent with emphasis on marketing, advertising, or business.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of all go-to-market strategies, informed by rich consumer and industry insights and connected to measurable outcomes.
• Push our teams to raise the bar in terms of executional and performance excellence.
• Ensure consistency and quality of major client presentations.
• Identify and create openings for organic growth opportunities across Monks' full capability set; contribute to scope enhancements and media spend growth.
