Job summary

Monks seeks a Director of Media Strategy to lead senior-level media planning for key accounts. You will guide go-to-market strategies, build integrated, data-driven plans, and drive measurable business outcomes with AI-enabled workflows. You will mentor mid-level leaders and partner with cross-functional teams to ensure excellence.

You will oversee strategic delivery, maintain client knowledge, and champion innovative thinking across Social, Search, Programmatic, Video, OOH and Partnerships.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of media strategy, planning and digital media experience.
• B2B experience required.
• Mastery of traditional, digital and social media planning, buying and measurement.
• Fluent in data and AI-enabled tools with strong analytical rigor.
• Experience with syndicated planning and insight tools to build audience-driven plans.
• BA or equivalent with emphasis on marketing, advertising, or business.

Responsibilities

• Lead go-to-market strategies and integrated, full-funnel media plans informed by insights.
• Set standards for annual planning, campaign strategy, audience frameworks and measurement.
• Apply AI-enabled tools to accelerate insight generation and reporting.
• Analyze data, craft executive-ready insights and recommendations.
• Maintain deep knowledge of client business priorities and performance.
