Medline Industries, LP is seeking a Director of Accounting – Inventory & Fixed Assets to lead the U.S. teams and partner globally in ensuring accurate financial reporting under U.S. GAAP.

The role oversees inventory, product costing, fixed assets, and related close processes with strong internal controls, while driving continuous improvements and coordinating with auditors and business partners to support the global close.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business; CPA required.
• Extensive experience with U.S. GAAP accounting, reporting, and analysis.
• Strong internal controls and SOX experience; remediation and change management.
• Minimum 8 years in accounting, incl. inventory, product costing, fixed assets.
• ≥4 years of people-management experience in a large multinational.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead Inventory, Product Costing, and Fixed Assets accounting teams in the U.S.
• Oversee close processes, journal entries, reconciliations, and asset accounting.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, SOX, and internal policies; liaise with auditors.
• Drive process improvements, system implementations, and policy development.
• Manage budget for the department and major programs; part of global governance.
