Job summary

The YMCA of Greater San Francisco seeks a Director of Grant Contract Compliance to ensure every agency program adheres to funder guidelines, contractual terms, and applicable laws. You will steward program compliance, maintain audit-ready records, and oversee data integrity and reporting, coordinating with leadership and the Community Action Board.

You will also supervise Data Support Specialist staff and collaborate with the Board and senior leadership to align governance with funder

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in nonprofit/public administration.
• 3–5 years of experience in program compliance, contract management, or nonprofit administration.
• Experience with government-funded programs (federal/state/local).
• Strong data reporting and quality assurance capabilities.
• Familiarity with nonprofit governance and by-laws is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor active program contracts and grants to ensure compliance with funder requirements and contractual terms.
• Maintain a compliance calendar with deadlines and reporting obligations.
• Conduct internal compliance reviews and implement corrective actions.
• Serve as a point of contact for program-related compliance inquiries.
• Review funder guidelines and keep staff updated on changes.
• Ensure policies align with regulations and funder mandates.
• Prepare and submit required reports for contracts and grants.
