Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems seeks a Director of Property (D1) to lead government/customer property and company property programs across multiple sites including MD. You will drive strategic direction, ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS, and interface with customers and auditors to optimize property management.

The role requires extensive leadership experience, knowledge of government property regulations, and the ability to manage complex inventories and reporting across a fast-paced defense

Qualifications

• 10+ years of government property management experience.
• Strong knowledge of FAR/DFARS and related regulations.
• Experience leading Government Property teams.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of property professionals for government/customer and company property.
• Develop and implement the strategic direction for the Government Property organization.
• Ensure property compliance with FAR/DFARS and reporting to regulatory and internal stakeholders.
• Interface with customers, auditors, and senior management on all government/customer property matters.
• Develop and implement tools to track and report on government/customer property.
• Oversee self-assessments, physical inventories, and subcontractor controls.
