VSolvit, LLC. seeks a strategic Director of Contracts & Project Controls to lead the Contracts and Project Controls teams in a remote/hybrid U.S. role.

You will ensure FAR/DFARS compliance, drive process improvements, and oversee the full lifecycle of government contracts from capture through closeout. The role requires senior-level contract management experience, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to align contracting strategy with finance, legal, and business development to support

Qualifikationen

• Ability to obtain / maintain a DoD Secret Clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Contract Management, Finance, Accounting, Law, or related field
• 10+ years in government contracting and project controls, with at least 5+ years in direct managerial leadership
• Advanced knowledge of project control methodologies (WBS, variance analysis, revenue recognition, indirect rate applications)
• Thorough knowledge of FAR, DFARS, ITAR, SBA, DCAA, DCMA and related regulations
• Strong leadership, negotiation, risk management and analytical skills with attention to contractual detail
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple contracts and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with contract management systems (GovCon)
• Experience with cost-plus, fixed-price, and T&M contract types (preferred)

Aufgaben

• Serve as primary contact for contract administration: awards, modifications, extensions, closeouts
• Review contract terms for compliance with policies and regulations
• Support proposal and capture teams in compliant responses and pricing
• Lead contract negotiations with customers, subcontractors, and partners
• Coordinate with Legal and Finance for alignment of obligations and billing
• Prepare, maintain, and modify contractual documents (NDAs, Teaming Agreements, Subcontracts)
• Ensure timely submission of deliverables and contract reports
• Advise on interpretation, risk mitigation, and change management
• Conduct internal audits and respond to external compliance requirements
• Mentor junior contract staff and develop scalable management procedures
• Oversee lifecycle of contracts in FAR/DFARS and related policies
• Provide executive oversight of budgeting, Earned Value, and EAC/ETC
