Job summary

Ascendo Resources seeks a Director of Financial Reporting to lead the company’s GAAP financial reporting, SEC filings, and disclosures. You will work closely with Corporate Controller, CFO, and the Board to ensure accurate reporting and timely filings.

The role requires expert knowledge of GAAP, SEC requirements, XBRL, and SOX 404, with strong leadership and communication skills to manage auditors and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
• Experience with XBRL and SEC filings processes.
• Strong leadership and ability to drive cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting.
• Coordinate 10-Q/8-K and other SEC filing activities with legal and auditors.
• Interact with internal and external auditors on GAAP and SOX 404.
• Lead disclosure committee processes and policy implementation.
• Provide analysis and memos on accounting matters for senior management.
