Job summary

University of Missouri-Kansas City seeks a Senior Director to lead KCSourceLink and MOSourceLink, shaping strategic direction, programs, and staff development. You will build relationships with entrepreneur support organizations and funders to grow Missouri's entrepreneurial ecosystem.

You will oversee budgets, marketing, data systems, and program representation at events, while guiding cross-organization collaboration and driving grant-funded initiatives to success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 6 years of experience.
• Strong program, project and people management skills with ability to lead diverse teams.
• Proven ability to build relationships with funders and stakeholders to support programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction to KCSourceLink and MOSourceLink programs; set short- and long-term goals and objectives; manage operations and staff.
• Build relationships with entrepreneur support organizations and community groups; monitor and report on programs offered.
• Convene constituencies to connect the entrepreneurial ecosystem and drive collaboration across organizations.
• Identify gaps in the network and lead cross-organization efforts to grow the ecosystem and report progress.
• Seek and manage grant opportunities; track progress and report to funders; maintain funder relationships.
• Oversee budgets, marketing strategy, and program representation at community events and media engagements.
• Manage data and survey systems (CRM and outsourcing) and report activities and progress.
• Oversee annual Global Entrepreneurship Week activities in the Kansas City region.
