Job summary

City Colleges of Chicago (CCC) is seeking an Executive Director of Academic Strategy for the School of Engineering. Based at Wright College with districtwide oversight, the role drives academic leadership, curriculum alignment, and evaluation across multiple campuses to improve retention, completion, and transfer outcomes.

The executive reports to the Districtwide Dean of the School of Engineering and leads initiatives in planning, assessment, and data-informed decision making that strengthen

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering, STEM, or closely related field required; Ph.D. preferred.
• Minimum of five years in engineering education, academic leadership, or higher education administration.
• Demonstrated experience in academic planning, program development, evaluation, and improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of academic strategies to strengthen engineering pathways and student outcomes.
• Collaborate across all School of Engineering locations for districtwide academic leadership.
• Ensure curriculum alignment and consistency across campuses; promote student success and transfer outcomes.
