Job summary

Starbucks Coffee Company is seeking a Director of Design & Construction Sourcing to lead end-to-end sourcing for store renovation, new build projects and related services in a fast-moving retail environment.

You will own multi-year strategy, run complex negotiations, and develop cost-saving programs while building a high-performing, data-driven team that partners with Technology, Finance, Operations and Store Design across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain with 5+ years in design & construction
• Proven track record leading high-value, complex sourcing initiatives and negotiations
• Experience in global retail or similarly complex environments preferred
• Experience in matrixed CPO/procurement reporting to VP-level leaders

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve multi-year design & construction sourcing strategy
• Lead competitive sourcing events for high-value contracts
• Develop TCO models, should-cost analyses, and market insights
• Maintain a multi-year pipeline of sourcing initiatives
• Benchmark pricing and terms against market standards
