Job summary

Emmes Group is seeking a Director of Business Development for CRO services and software solutions to drive revenue growth on the US East Coast. The role is remote, ideally within the East Coast, with travel to customer sites as needed.

The candidate should bring experience selling CRO services, SaaS, and AI-enabled solutions, and a strong track record in new business development and strategic account management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or related field is required.
• 8–10 years of business development, sales leadership, or strategic accounts experience.
• Experience selling CRO services, SaaS platforms, or AI-enabled solutions.

Responsibilities

• Drive net-new business growth by securing new customers and expanding existing accounts.
• Develop and execute territory plans, account strategies, and pursuit plans aligned with growth objectives.
• Lead executive meetings, capability presentations, client visits, proposals, and bid defense meetings.
• Maintain disciplined CRM practices and accurate forecasting.
