Job summary

Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center in Buffalo, NY seeks an Executive Director of Capital Projects to lead the design, procurement, and delivery of major construction and infrastructure initiatives across the campus.

You will mentor staff, align projects with the institution's mission, manage multi-disciplinary design teams, and ensure projects meet time, budget, and scope goals from concept through occupancy.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or MBA.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or business administration.
• Professional registration: Registered Architect or Professional Engineer or PMI Construction Professional (PMI-CP) or CCM.
• 8+ years of full-time experience in project management, design, construction or construction management, including at least two years in a senior leadership capacity.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor staff while managing internal stakeholders and multidisciplinary design and construction teams.
• Develop procurement strategies and oversee design and construction procurement processes.
• Manage contract administration and ensure successful project delivery from concept through occupancy.

Education

Master’s degree in engineering / architecture / construction management / MBA

Bachelor’s degree in engineering / architecture / construction management / business administration

Registered Architect or Professional Engineer or PMI Construction Professional (PMI-CP) or CCM
