Qualifications

• Procurement/buying experience.
• SAP experience.
• Self-starter with the ability to manage a high volume of purchase requirements, supply chain related tasks and associated purchase orders.
• Highly organized and customer service focused.

Responsibilities

• Sources, negotiates and purchases machinery, equipment, tools, raw material, packaging materials, parts, services, and/or supplies necessary for operation of an organization.
• Compiles and analyzes statistical data to determine feasibility of buying products and to establish price objectives.
• Monitors performance of suppliers and keeps informed on price trends and manufacturing processes.
• Evaluates opportunities to leverage material acquisitions and tracks data.
• Negotiates with suppliers, analyzes supplier operations to determine price factors and lowest cost with quality and reliability.
• Reviews proposals, negotiates prices, selects or recommends suppliers, maintains records, and may prepare RFPs and bid packages.
