Marathon Petroleum is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to join the Refining Digital team. You will shape and deliver transformative technology solutions that improve safety, reliability, efficiency, and business value across refining operations.

You will partner with business leaders and refinery stakeholders to define strategy, prioritize initiatives, and drive enterprise-scale programs from concept to value realization using Digital Twins, connected worker solutions, and advanced

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems preferred or related field.
5+ years of relevant experience required.
Experience leading complex business and technology initiatives in refining, manufacturing, industrial, or operational technology environments strongly preferred.
Experience with Data Contextualization or Industrial Digital Twin technologies is preferred.
Understanding of IT/OT convergence and integrating systems across industrial and enterprise environments is preferred.
Proven ability to influence senior leaders, build consensus, and drive change across large, matrixed organizations is preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead identification, evaluation, and delivery of strategic digital initiatives creating measurable business value across Refining locations and processes.
Lead improvement recommendations and present effectively to senior and executive management and global teams; act as trusted advisor and thought leader.
Present and lead client meetings with business and development teams; align technology investments with business objectives across IT/OT landscapes.
Provide recommendations for appropriate systems alternatives or enhancements to current systems.
Partner with business teams to develop ways to investigate performance and drive business planning.
