Job summary

Marathon Petroleum Corporation is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to shape and deliver transformative technology solutions across refining operations. You will partner with business leaders to define strategy, influence priorities, and drive enterprise-scale initiatives from concept through value realization.

You will work with Digital Twins, connected worker solutions, industrial data platforms, and advanced analytics to bridge operational needs with technology innovation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant experience required.
• Experience leading complex business and technology initiatives in refining, manufacturing, or OT environments preferred.
• Experience with Data Contextualization or Industrial Digital Twin technologies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead identification, evaluation, and delivery of strategic digital initiatives across refining locations.
• Present recommendations to senior management and shape the digital roadmap.
• Coordinate client meetings and communicate with senior leaders to align IT/OT investments with business priorities.
• Recommend system alternatives and enhancements for current systems.
• Partner with business teams to measure performance and drive planning.
• Lead cost-benefit and ROI analyses for proposed systems.
