Job summary

Town of Little Elm seeks a Development Services Project Manager to initiate and manage a wide range of development and capital improvement projects. You will coordinate cross-department reviews, manage permitting, and support economic development initiatives while maintaining strong relationships with developers and staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• Master’s degree is preferred.
• PMP certification is preferred.
• Minimum two years in municipal planning or project management.
• Any combination of education, experience, and licenses that enables the essential functions.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and capital improvement projects and coordinate cross-department reviews.
• Guide applicants through development permitting steps and submittals.
• Manage budget coordination and cost estimation for development projects.
• Track performance metrics and ensure deadlines are met using project software.
• Maintain Development Application Handbook, Fee Schedule, and website content.
• Represent the department in meetings with stakeholders, engineers, and officials.
