Job summary

You will manage marketing campaigns, incentives, redevelopment projects, and stakeholder engagement, supervise staff, coordinate with the Chamber of Commerce, and report outcomes to the City Council.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and five years progressively responsible experience in Economic Development for a municipal entity preferred.
• Professional certification such as TEDC CEcD or EDFP preferred; real estate or land use knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic execution of the city’s economic development plan and oversee daily programs.
• Manage web-based, print and social media marketing campaigns to support departmental goals.
• Negotiate and administer economic development incentives and development agreements.
• Coordinate with the Chamber of Commerce and EDAB; work with boards, commissions and city departments.
• Oversee staff performance, establish measurable goals, and monitor ROI on initiatives.
