El Puente is seeking a Development & Special Projects Associate to support fundraising, grants management, and emerging program opportunities in Brooklyn, NY. • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional, organizing, and lived experience.
• Excellent organizational and project-management skills with ability to track deadlines.
• Strong writing ability to convey ideas clearly, concisely, and persuasively.
• Strong communicator who interacts with colleagues, funders, partners, and leaders.
• Excellent researcher who can learn new issues and synthesize information.
• Experience preparing presentations or executive briefing materials.
• Ability to take initiative and manage multiple priorities.

Responsabilidades

• Research prospective foundations, government opportunities, corporate partners, and other funding sources.
• Assist with drafting, editing, and submitting grant proposals and funding requests.
• Support budgeting for funding submissions, including grants and contracts.
• Coordinate the process for funding proposals and reports.
• Develop and maintain a detailed tracking system for funding sources.
• Prepare briefing materials and presentations for funder meetings.
• Help maintain relationships with funding partners and craft compelling narratives.
• Support special fundraising initiatives, campaigns, events, and donor engagement.
• Coordinate cross-program special projects and partnerships.
• Research new program ideas, partnerships, and funding opportunities.
• Develop new programs from concept to planning and implementation.
• Translate ideas into project plans, timelines, budgets, and next steps.
• Coordinate meetings, agendas, notes, and follow-up actions.
• Track commitments and deliverables across multiple stakeholders.
• Prepare materials for Executive Director and funder meetings.
