Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in the social sciences or related field; a master’s degree preferred.
• Strong writing and verbal communications skills.
• Strong computer skills: MS Office, search engines, GuideStar, Google Analytics, Foundation Center Directory.
• Ability to compile, analyze, and synthesize program data for proposals, reports, and presentations.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and interact with staff across the organization.
• Knowledge of fundraising devices, proposals, inquiries, letters of intent, and grant applications.

Responsibilities

• Write funding proposals to foundations, corporations, and funding federations using various formats.
• Prepare interim, progress, and final reports to funders.
• Edit drafts of proposals to ensure funder requirements are met.
• Oversee compilation and writing of large-scale government proposals.
• Maintain documentation for government portals and portal submissions.
