Job summary

General Atomics leads in high-technology systems from nuclear to advanced propulsion, seeking a Director of Strategic Development for GA-EMS Electromagnetic Systems. Location can be San Diego, CA or Washington, D.C.

The role directs strategic development activities and collaborates with engineering, programs, finance, and supply chain to drive growth and capture opportunities. Responsibilities include shaping strategic plans, managing opportunity qualification and proposals, and advising senior

Qualifications

Requires Bachelors or Masters in engineering and/or business admin.
US Citizenship and ability to maintain Top Secret/Q clearance (SCI eligibility preferred).
Experience with DoE/DoD customers and government programs desired.
Strong leadership, planning, scheduling, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

Lead development and execution of strategic business development plans.
Influence cross-functional stakeholders to achieve growth and capture objectives.
Provide strategic leadership and act as trusted advisor to senior leadership.
Build relationships with government, industry, labs, and academia.
