Job summary

General Atomics (GA) is seeking a Director of Strategic Development within the GA-EMS Electromagnetic Systems Group, based in Centennial, CO. You will direct business development for US government space programs and oversee short- and long-term objectives for the organization.

You will collaborate with senior leaders, pursue partnerships and joint ventures, and guide proposals, budgets, and contracts while maintaining confidentiality and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in engineering and/or business administration.
• 15+ years in business development with at least 9 years managing BD activities.
• US Citizenship with ability to obtain Top Secret clearance (ideally active TS/SCI).
• Experience with national security space customers and DoD/IC is desired.

Responsibilities

• Direct business development for US government space programs and oversee BD objectives.
• Consult with senior leadership to pursue partnerships, alliances, and joint ventures.
• Lead preparation of proposals, budgets, and contracts, ensuring financial objectives are met.
• Represent GA to customers and partners domestically and internationally; guide strategic initiatives.
