System Planning and Analysis, Inc. (SPA) seeks a deputy program manager to support client program managers, coordinating planning, management, and execution of a growing defense R&D and manufacturing program.

The position is primarily onsite in West Bethesda, MD, with light travel and frequent engagement with leadership and stakeholders. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in STEM or business, 5+ years in defense manufacturing or Navy programs, proven project management experience, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM or business field.
• 5+ years experience supporting defense manufacturing, Navy shipbuilding, research and development, defense acquisition programs, or other relevant initiatives
• Experience managing projects or programs, including cost, schedule, and risk
• Current DoD security clearance - minimum Secret, with the ability to maintain it throughout employment
• Strong communication and cross-stakeholder coordination across government and industry
