King County's Department of Community and Human Services (DCHS) is seeking a Deputy Finance Manager for Financial Operations in the Behavioral Health and Recovery Division. This senior position provides leadership for budgeting, monitoring, and reporting and supervises the BMR Team with two fund managers and three business liaisons.

The role requires strategic financial insight and cross-team collaboration. Hybrid work with office days in Seattle; primary location Chinook Building, Seattle, WA.

Qualifikationen

• Five or more years of budgeting, finance, managerial accounting, and financial accounting.
• Advanced knowledge of analytical and management systems.
• Advanced knowledge of financial information systems.
• Knowledge of GAAP and contract administration.
• Three or more years of supervisory experience.

Aufgaben

• Provide strategic guidance to set financial direction and sustainable planning for the division.
• Coordinate agendas and lead monthly BHRD Fiscal Leadership Meetings.
• Manage and supervise the Budget, Monitoring, and Reporting Teams.
• Lead division-wide financial operations and ensure compliant accounting practices.
