Job summary

Amazon’s technology supply chain seeks a Manager, Demand Planning to lead the demand planning capability across Launch, KTLO, and Programs, owning forecast creation and consensus. You will translate signals into actionable plans and drive continuous improvement with senior stakeholders.

You will collaborate with Product, Data, Analytics, and Technology teams to automate forecast ingestion and explore machine learning to improve forecast quality, aiming for scalable, technology-enabled planning

Qualifications

• 5+ years working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams
• 5+ years of team management experience
• 5+ years of cross-functional project delivery experience
• 5+ years of program or project management experience
• 5+ years of supply chain experience
• Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Experience in forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and interpreting financial results across multiple business areas

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team responsible for demand planning across Launch, KTLO, and Programs
• Own end-to-end demand planning mechanism including forecast creation, validation, consensus, performance measurement, and continuous improvement
• Translate signals into credible forward-looking demand plans at appropriate product, geographic, and time horizons
• Define and improve forecast accuracy, bias, and other metrics
• Partner with Supply Planning and Enterprise S&OP to surface demand uncertainty and support scenario decisions
• Develop segmented planning approaches for launches, steady-state replenishment, and program-driven demand
• Automate forecast ingestion, validation, anomaly detection, and planner workflows with Product, Data, Analytics, and Tech teams
• Advance the use of statistical forecasting, machine learning, and AI to improve forecast quality
