Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Seattle, WA is seeking a results-driven Program Manager to own the design, planning, and execution of AIS planning cycles and demand-supply alignment across AWS infrastructure.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and executives to deliver reliable capacity while controlling costs. The role emphasizes global S&OP processes, forecasting, and continuous improvement, with a strong focus on data-driven decision making and stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of program management or technical project management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related technical field.
• 3+ years of demand planning and forecasting experience.
• Experience in written and verbal communication with the ability to present complex technical information to executives and non-technical leaders.

Responsibilities

• Support the global S&OP cycle– Execute and improve the end-to-end, monthly/quarterly cadence that aligns AWS demand signals with supply, power, and capital plans.
• Deliver a trusted demand signal– Contribute to a single source of truth that reconciles financial plans, sales & growth outlooks, NPI roadmaps, transition ramps, and prior POR commitments.
• Prepare executive planning forums– Develop materials that frame one-way vs. two-way-door decisions, articulate trade-offs, and support leadership alignment across AIS, EC2, S3, EBS, Finance, and Energy.
• Support planning systems– Partner with software teams in automating demand-, supply-, and scenario-planning workflows (e.g., Connect, o9, Infor, Manhattan); maintain interim manual mechanisms until automation is in place.
• Develop decision frameworks– Build constrained-planning models that surface risks and levers under power, permitting, or component shortages.
• Measure what matters– Maintain KPIs and dashboards that quantify forecast accuracy, inventory turns, build-plan adherence, and capacity-delivery cycle time.
• Drive continuous improvement– Identify and execute digital-transformation initiatives that simplify processes, eliminate waste, and raise planning maturity across AIS.
