Job summary

Emerson Electric Corporation in Cranberry Township, PA is seeking a Demand Planning Specialist to develop and manage demand forecasts that support inventory, supply chain, production, and financial planning. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create accurate demand plans, identify risks and opportunities, and drive alignment through the S&OP process.

You will work with ERP platforms (SAP/Oracle) and BI tools to analyze trends, monitor forecast performance, and support inventory

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience in demand planning, forecasting, supply chain planning, or related analytical role.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with large data sets.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Experience with ERP systems and planning platforms such as SAP or Oracle.

Responsibilities

Develop and manage demand forecasts supporting inventory, supply chain, production, and financial planning.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create accurate demand plans and drive S&OP alignment.
Analyze sales trends, seasonality, and market dynamics to improve forecast accuracy.
Incorporate new product introductions, promotions, and market developments into planning.
Monitor forecast performance and identify drivers of forecast variance.
